Sharpe Sound Studios and Television offers complete Post Production Sound services. With Vancouver’s largest certified Dolby Cinema Atmos mixing stage, four Dolby Atmos Home Theatre mixing stages, two dedicated ADR studios and eight editing suites available we can handle any size project. With our extensive roster of sound design and editorial teams, we provide a hands on approach to make your picture come alive through sound. From the early conceptual design phase to the final touches of your mix, we’ll work together and guide you to make your dreams a reality.
We’ve designed and tuned our mixing stages to be interchangeable allowing the convenience of moving one project seamlessly into another stage within minutes. This allows our clients to always have the availability for scheduling flexibility if needed.
ADR / Walla
Recording
The story of any project begins with the dialogue. At Sharpe, capturing the dialogue is paramount to the success of the film or show. Whether it’s ADR, Voice Over, Pre-Lay or Walla, Sharpe will obtain the best quality sound and performance for your project. In addition to our two dedicated ADR/Walla recording studios, three of our dubbing stages can also convert to recorded spaces if needed. This allows the scheduling flexibility needed for all your projects.
Foley Recording
Our Foley recording Studio is the largest in the city with a plethora of surfaces and a warehouse of props onsite. We are also able to provide unique and specialized foley recordings utilizing our other stages. In the past we have recorded large dance ensembles and custom special effects recordings.
Miscellaneous Editorial
Having been in business for so long, we have the equipment to complete even the rarest of audio transfers. Additionally, we can assist with audio and video format changes and frame rate conversions.
Editorial Suites for Rent
As a result of the size of our facility, we have a separate wing of 6 edit suites with dedicated fiber lines available for out of house rent. These suites can be used for both audio and picture editorial services. Isolated from the rest of the building, both of our security practices will and can remain intact.
